Common questions
The map doesn't show where I am
Allow location access in Settings → Live Earth Map → Location ("While Using the App"), and make sure Location Services is on in Settings → Privacy & Security. Indoors, it can take a few seconds to get a fix.
A live camera doesn't play
Live cameras are public YouTube streams run by other people, and they sometimes go offline or move. Check your internet connection, then try another camera; we update the list regularly.
How do I cancel or manage Premium?
Open Settings → Manage subscription in the app, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Live Earth Map. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Premium until the end of the paid week.
I paid but still see ads, or Premium disappeared
Open Settings → Restore purchases in the app while signed in with the Apple Account you used to subscribe. If that doesn't help, email us your purchase date (no payment details needed).
How do I get a refund?
Payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are too: go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where are my GPS Cam photos?
In the Photos app, in the album "Live Earth Map", and in the in-app gallery. The app needs Photos access to save and show them.
Speed alerts don't appear
Allow notifications for Live Earth Map, and keep the trip running. For alerts with the screen off, choose "Allow While Using App" or "Always" for location; iOS shows a location indicator while a trip is running in the background.
How do I change ad tracking or privacy choices?
Tracking: iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland: Settings → Privacy choices in the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
There's no account to delete. Favourites, history, parking, home and settings are stored on your iPhone and are removed when you delete the app. GPS Cam photos stay in your photo library until you delete them there. For anything sent to us by email, ask us and we will delete it.
How do I change the app's language?
In the app: Settings → Language. Or iPhone Settings → Live Earth Map → Language. The two always stay in sync.
